ReachOut are mentoring specialists, and use a unique ‘character strength’ approach to their work which promotes good judgement, fairness, staying power, and self control ⚖ Their work is tailored to young people at different stages of their development 🧠 Part of their success is down to their brilliant relationships with schools, corporate partners, and volunteers 🤝 This mentoring offering goes beyond practical support, such as CV reviews, but really focuses on the personal development of the young people involved 🧡 James Williams and Felicity Lewis thank you for being such brilliant partners and also for connecting us across the sector so that we can be better funders. As we move into our new, biodiversity-focused strategy, it’s time to say goodbye to some of our fantastic partners who work with young people. The Mix Charity deliver vital digital resources to young people across the country who might not otherwise be able to access support 💻 They cover a huge variety of topics: from periods to money management, and from vaping health risks to asking for consent ℹ The Mix Connect was recently launched, to be delivered through schools in order to ensure that all young people can access advice 🎒 The Mix also runs an emergency helpline, which is a vital resource for young people in crisis 📞 We know that the challenges facing young people will continue, so the work of Chris Martin and the rest of the team at The Mix Charity is so important.
