I recently had the pleasure of chatting with someone who was looking for some career advice. We talked about their goals and what they were hoping for in their next role. I shared a document with them that we have created, that helps with crafting your own story and clarifying what you want in a job, your career, and your work/life balance. After they worked through the document and sent it back, I could see their clarity and excitement really coming through. A couple of weeks later, they called to express their gratitude and shared how the document helped them gain a clear perspective. I was absolutely thrilled to hear that they had got a new role that’s a perfect fit for them, and how the document played a key role in helping them articulate their goals during the interview. Although this placement wasn’t directly through my services, it really highlights why I do what I do. Moments like these are why I’m so passionate about helping people.
