The i Paper reposted this
Have you ever found yourself in a toxic workplace, or working with toxic colleagues? Unfortunately, itʼs quite a common issue – according to FlexJobs, 84 per cent of people have had at least one toxic colleague, and 43 per cent of people have quit their job because of a toxic manager. The effect it has shouldnʼt be underestimated: 51 per cent experience increased anxiety as a result of having a toxic boss, while for 24 per cent, it has a negative impact on their performance at work. It's a topic Katie Williams addresses in The i Paper's work column this week, looking at how a boss playing favourites with a team member is impacting everyone else's ability to be productive and succeed. If you're facing a work conundrum you'd like an expert like Katie to dissect, email your question to work@theipaper.com. You can read this week's column here: https://lnkd.in/euSM2hfM
