🎉 Celebrating Success at The John Roan School! 🎉 We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students for their outstanding GCSE achievements! Despite the challenges, over 54% secured a grade 4 or above in English and Maths, and 34% achieved a grade 5 or higher. Notably, 40% of our History students earned a grade 7 or above—an impressive accomplishment! Congratulations to standout performers like Alfie, who scored ten grade 9s, India, who scored ten grade 8s or above, and many others who have demonstrated resilience and excellence. Our students' hard work and determination shine brightly, and we look forward to welcoming many of them back into our Sixth Form. 🎉 A-Level Success at The John Roan School! 🎉 We are thrilled to share the fantastic news that our Sixth-Form students at The John Roan School received their A-Level results today, and the vast majority have secured places at their first-choice universities! 🌟 This year’s achievements are exceptional, with students heading to some of the most prestigious institutions, including Cambridge, Bristol, and Edinburgh. 👉 Milun will join Robinson College, Cambridge, to study Geography after achieving an impressive two A*s and an A. 👉 Jake is all set for Imperial College London with four A*s, where he’ll pursue Mechanical Engineering. 👉 Shristi, our talented artist, who also won a national Art Award, will study Animation at the University of Edinburgh. 👉 Summer will be heading to the University of Bristol to pursue her passion in Veterinary Medicine. 🐾 We were honoured to have the local Mayor join us in celebrating these incredible accomplishments today! 🎉 Principal Cath Smith shared her pride in the students and staff, saying, “It’s wonderful to see our students celebrating their successes and getting into their first-choice universities.
