A Memorable Day with Plumbers Through Generations: Factory Tour in Coventry and Wardtec
Today, we had the distinct pleasure of hosting a factory tour at our Coventry and Wardtec facilities with some very special guests. marcus bull (known as MB Plumber) with his apprentice, 17 year old son, Peter Booth (known as PB Plumber), and his father, George – a retired plumber with years of experience.
Our tour kicked off with an introduction to our family-run business, (now 5th generation), where we shared stories about our company’s heritage and passion for craftsmanship. It was an exciting opportunity to connect over the common bond of plumbing, a trade that runs deep in the veins of both our team and our visitors.
We delved into the manufacturing process, giving the group a behind-the-scenes look at how our high-quality plumbing products come to life. From raw materials to precision engineering, it was great to demonstrate the attention to detail and care we put into each piece.
Our guests also had a chance to see our rigorous quality inspection process, where we ensure that every fitting meets the highest industry standards. George, with his profound knowledge, was fascinated to see how we inspect copper, being able to view the grain through a microscope. But the highlight of the day was when marcus bull, Peter Booth, and even George rolled up their sleeves and crafted their very own copper fittings! It was a wonderful moment of collaboration and hands-on learning, and we’re thrilled that they could take a piece of the day home with them.
Below are some photo highlights of this special day. We’re truly grateful for the time spent with these skilled plumbers from three generations, and we hope to see them again soon. Thanks for coming!
