We've introduced a discreet waterproof zipped cuff pocket for easier battery access and secure storage, a back-of-hand controller with three customizable heat settings, and a battery capacity indicator. The Thinsulate has also been updated with a lighter palm weight when compared to the back of the hand to ensure a great grip feel. Merlin was formed in 2011 by five passionate and experienced motorcycle riders. From a small barn conversion in the hear of Birmingham, UK, Merlin launched its first collection a year later. 🏆 Exciting News! Our Alton II jacket just earned the coveted Ride Recommended award! Tested in the Smart-Buy Naked Jacket category, it scored top highly for comfort, ventilation, ease of use, and a spot-on fit. Building on the success of v1, our team has worked hard to bring key improvements to v2 that make it even better. Our main focus? Enhancing breathability, refining the fit, and upgrading the protection with D3O armour. We also made the liner softer and more comfortable with a premium mesh and improved all of the trims, such as the new durable branded snaps. It’s been a journey of listening, learning, and refining, and we’re proud of the results. Every detail reflects our commitment to delivering the best to our community.

In this SS24 season, we proudly introduce 20 new products across our three rider-focused collections: Heritage, Explorer, and LeisureMoto. The goal was to maintain our very competitive pricing while delivering products that combine aspirational styling with an even greater mix of technical. This year sees more products at CE Level AAA and Level 2 in boots, without losing comfort or adding weight. We continue to use more organic and recycled fabrics whilst reducing 'forever chemicals'. Our onboarding of new manufacturers has enabled us to further elevate the overall quality that defines the Merlin brand. From our modest beginnings on the outskirts of Birmingham, UK, Merlin has expanded its reach to over 20 countries worldwide with both a UK and North American setup.
