The Powerhouse Project
Professional Training and Coaching
We are a community of Powerhouses changing the face of sport 🚀
About us
In an era marked by huge strides in women's sport, glaring disparities and barriers still persist for women in the sport industry on and off the pitch. The Powerhouse Project stands to the driving force for change. We exist to make sport a more equal space because we know that if we win in sport, we win in society. Our movement inspires, educates, enables and elevates our community to become Powerhouses and the sporting leaders of the future. We are resolute in our commitment to empowering every individual with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in the competitive world of sport, with a sharp focus coaches, players, media talent and pupils. A Powerhouse embodies three fundamental values: Purposeful, Passionate, Powerful. Purposeful - A Powerhouse is driven by creating a lasting impact in sport and in wider society through their own actions and also the people they help to develop. Passionate - A Powerhouse is committed to being the best person that they can be for themselves, their team and their community. Powerful - A Powerhouse knows their position as a leader and a role model and they use their status to teach positive values and behaviours..

A coach, leader, mentor and so much more 💪🚨 Ivi Casagrande is a Powerhouse Pioneer. Her hard work and dedication is a driving force within the PHP team and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board. We first connected with Ivi in 2023 and it was a match made in heaven 🙏 Not only did our values align but also our shared desire to make sport a better place for women. 👊 Take a look through our conversation with Ivi and get to know her journey and reason for empowering the next generation 🤝 #footballcoaching #coaching

🚨🗣️Stop excluding women from the conversation. When chatting with PHP Alumni Yasmin Hussain she discussed her biggest challenge. Yasmin is a great coach who has worked endlessly to get where she is today yet she still faces so many obstacles. It is so deflating to still see these issues as women in sport and we need to make a change 👊 We couldn’t be prouder of Yasmin and her determination to become an influential leader; This will only make you stronger. 💪 Stop excluding women from conversations, just because they’re women. 👊🚨‼️

Next up, Gemma Dunn 💪 Gemma is a university lecturer and football coach. Her two biggest passions in life are football and education. We’ve loved seeing Gemma grow throughout her time on our programme and we can’t wait to see what’s next for this Powerhouse 💪👀
