The Communications Information Systems Trials and Development Unit (CISTDU) is a small unit and the ONLY OFFICIAL CIS trials unit within the British Army, delivering trials and experimentation on CIS for the British Army. They may not have the capacity to holiday in Belize or Brunei to experiment, but are pivotal in the trial of all new MOD CIS projects. They also experiment and innovate with the most cutting-edge tech, including communication lasers, new radio waveforms and even counter-UAV weapons. Constantly seeking innovative ideas with a look to experiment further. If you feel you have an innovative idea, and no one else can help, call the CISTDU. #experimentation #innovation British Army

What a weekend it was for soldiers from 39 Sig Regt, supporting the gruelling cadet Ten Tors event on Dartmoor. They carried out the role the Corps delivers to the Army: providing the vital comms, data and tracking links that kept the teams safe and the organisers informed. Great work from our reserve soldiers! British Army

This week, our very own Master of Signals, Lieutenant General Dame Sharon Nesmith DCB, received her investiture at Windsor Castle from our Colonel-in-Chief the Princess Royal. Congratulations on your achievement Ma'am!🎉 British Army

They did it! Today, the Queen’s Gurkha Signals passed their Fit for Role inspection, which means they are now officially ready to take over ceremonial duties in London and Windsor. It's a huge honour to be guarding the Royal palaces, especially in this, their 75th year! We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication and professionalism. Good luck to all those involved. #gurkha British Army
