🌍 International Day of Charity 🌍 Today is International Day of Charity – a perfect reminder of the transformative power of charity and the profound impact it can have on those around us. At The Valesco Group and our charitable arm The Valesco Foundation, our mission is to support causes that uplift communities, provide opportunities, and drive sustainable, systemic change. Here’s how we’ve made an impact so far this year: 👉 We have sponsored our third year of Patchwork Foundation’s Masterclass Programme, and Shiraz Jiwa had the honour of delivering the keynote speech at their induction 👉 We have joined homeless charity Hand on Heart Charitable Trust at their distributions and have funded the purchase of their first van, which has further leveraged their ability to reach even more people in need across the UK 👉 We are the first corporate donor of The 93% Club – the largest network of state-school-educated people in the UK whose mission is to break down the structural barriers to social mobility and build a future that’s fairer for the next generation 👉 We, led by our very own Edoardo Calvani, hosted a charity pizza sale for LUPUS UK with The Valesco Foundation matching the funds raised 👉 Some of our team will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October raising funds for one of our first grantees Carers Network Thank you to our dedicated supporters and partners who make our work possible. #InternationalDayOfCharity #TheValescoFoundation #Impact
