To celebrate National Proposal Day, we’re recognising love in the air with intimate and heartwarming moments experienced by our engaged couples. In 2024 alone, we reached soaring levels with 108 proposals hosted and each followed by an unforgettable "YES!" We have been fortunate enough to follow one of our couples’ skyline love stories from the very beginning, after having their first date at The View from The Shard in 2014, they returned in 2024 and got engaged. They plan to revisit and celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in 2034! Every proposal here is as unique as the love it represents, from couples who have travelled across the world to those with a deep personal connection to this iconic view. Legends of The Game, sky-high thrills, and an England Victory! 🏉   On Super Saturday, we hosted an exclusive Rugby Champions Event, combining legendary World Cup guests and an unforgettable Wales vs. England showdown, all at the very top of London’s most iconic landmark.   Following a luxury dining experience at Oblix Restaurant, the celebrations continued 72 floors up where guests competed against each other in real-time with an interactive World Cup Quiz by Piing.    As attendees soaked up the electric atmosphere, England's triumphant win was aired from our expansive Open-air Skydeck, where photo opportunities took place beside the legendary Webb Ellis Cup, a live auction and unique insights shared by the players. We joined forces with POWER is bananas and The Sweaty Betty Foundation to empower women and girls on their journey to greater fitness✨🍌💪 Joined by special guest Dame Kelly Holmes, The POWER Yin session paired with serene views above London, brought together moments of stillness and reflection. The View from The Shard was honoured to welcome the London Fire Brigade for a truly special celebration of their bravery and dedication to service.   Organised by the Borough Commander, the event brought together members of the Fire Safety Department as they received their King’s Coronation Medals, recognising their commitment and five years of unwavering service to London.   The View from The Shard was pleased to support the ceremony to celebrate and express the appreciation of the vital work The London Fire Brigade delivers. We extend our deepest thanks to these courageous individuals who put their lives on the line every day to protect our City.

In the lead up to #InternationalWomensDay, The View from The Shard hosted 'Women Leading Real Estate' - a morning event championing inclusivity in the Property industry.
