  • INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN: Julia Rose Brownlee, Founder of Julia Rose Styling 💫 Julia Rose Styling is a London-based personal stylist who loves helping women feel their best and most confident through their clothes 🙌🏾⚡️ As a busy mother of three, she understands the transitions and loss of identity that often accompany motherhood and the limited free time we have as parents. She believes that what we wear has a profound effect on how we feel. Her passion for colour analysis and its ability to bring smiles is one of her favourite aspects of personal styling. Witnessing the transformation in confidence and vibrancy is exactly why she loves helping others create their dream wardrobe. She believes in the philosophy that 'less is less stress'. In a world full of mental clutter, having a wardrobe that breathes, is well-organised, and brings you joy each morning is a beautiful thing. She loves helping people feel like their best selves! Julia is passionate about supporting female-founded businesses. Her advice to an aspiring entrepreneur or woman just starting her career? "Just keep going and follow your instinct; it's there for a reason, and it's such a powerful tool." What key lessons has she learned along the way? "You can turn a hobby into a job, but it's turning it into a career that is tricky. Marketing, money mindset, and forward planning are key to a successful self-employed career, and it's been meeting women along the way who have shared their expertise/taking on board their advice that has been the best lesson." And what is the best piece of advice she has received? "Never assume." Head over to Julia's brand page on our platform to read more of her business tips. You'll also find plenty of insights from other female founders who have shared their #womenled journeys with us. Link in comments!✨

  • BRANDS WE LOVE: Otherworldly Scents 💫 Founded by Rebecca Rose, To The Fairest is an independent British perfumery that creates sophisticated and enigmatic scents in a range of Eau de Parfum, scented candles, and satin body oils 🙌🏾⚡️ With a name inspired by an inscription on the 'golden apple' of Greek myth – the famed prize vied for by Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite – To The Fairest fragrances celebrate strength, sensuality, and sensorial escapism. Rebecca launched To The Fairest after years of collaboration with an expert creative perfumer, Penny Williams, to produce a range of unique fragrances inspired by imagined landscapes, literature, and love. Like us, Rebecca is also passionate about supporting female-founded businesses. Her advice to an aspiring entrepreneur or woman just starting her career? "Trust your instincts. Learning how to tap into your intuition is one of the most powerful things we can do." What are the key lessons that she has learned along the way? "Learning how to measure success in different ways – this was a helpful lesson during the pandemic when we had to shut two pop-ups prematurely. It forced the brand to develop a stronger online presence, introduce virtual consultations to customers, and build an in-chat shopping function." And what is the best piece of advice she has received? "Live life as if everything is rigged in your favour." We are very honoured to have To The Fairest as a founding member of our WomenLed Collective. Read more via the link in comments ✨
