Ebbsfleet Central Branding and Visioning The Yard Creative, has been awarded the contract for the Ebbsfleet Central brand and visioning brief by Ebbsfleet Development Corporation (EDC) - the public body, sponsored by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government facilitating the delivery of up to 15,000 homes and new Garden City in north Kent. The prestigious, multi-disciplinary project aims to shape the identity and vision for Ebbsfleet Central, a key development within the Ebbsfleet Garden City scheme. The Yard Creative is leading a team which includes global strategic communications and advocacy group SEC Newgate UK and visionary architects and urbanists Allies and Morrison. Together, it will collaborate with EDC and its stakeholders to develop a comprehensive creative strategy, developing a distinctive, insight-led brand and communications strategy that encapsulates the connectivity, commercial potential, wellbeing, and placemaking ambitions for Ebbsfleet Central. Breathing fresh life into a heritage brand: we’re proud to share our work with The Langham Estate. As one of London’s largest property portfolios dating back to the 19th century, The Langham Estate asked us to evolve its brand into a new era. We took an approach that combined the estate’s years of legacy with a forward-looking perspective, acknowledging its rich history while moving confidently into the future. After creating a set of digital guidelines for the brand’s new art direction, colour palette, graphic language, typography and tone of voice, we built a completely new website for The Langham Estate. We shot footage of the area to create a short video that tells the brand’s story and also designed print materials and brochures, including an investor pack and a tenant’s welcome pack. The end result? A star in the making. We’re excited to share our brand evolution work for Fresh Arts CIC in partnership with Quintain Limited. Providing arts education for children of all ages and backgrounds, Fresh Arts asked us to evolve their brand ahead of their relocation and grand opening at Wembley Park Retail. From a vibrant colour palette to playful visuals, the brand identity is designed to stand out and look instantly recognisable and appeal to young people, from toddlers to teenagers. Always expressing yourself, the brand mark channels our visual language and an adaptable brand expression that reflects the variety of our emotions, we brought to life a brand that’s as dynamic as the young artists and performers it supports, with a signifier that embodies guidance, Individual expression and creativity. We are proud to continue our working partnership with Quintain at Wembley Park in supporting their brand partners across its neighbourhoods, from activating retail, and hospitality destinations to creating spaces for the local community. Day 2 of attending this years FOOTPRINT+ event, and it has been very enjoyable and insightful, none more so then listening to this morning presentation from Pell Frischmann, Desco and Make Architects on Breathing new life into a 1930s building, focusing on refit and reuse. What has been a stand out so far is the open conversations and collaboration between all consultants working together in the commitment and drive towards achieving Net Zero.
