Paris est une fête: full of encounters and inspirations that live on forever. As collectors arrived for Art Basel Paris and Design Miami Paris, we had the joy of sitting down for a dinner hosted by DEDAR MILANO and Docent. It’s always exciting to be part of a jury and to enjoy the opportunity to discover original new works with great promise. I cannot thank enough Kimberley Cohen Pariente and Leslie Kouhana, the brilliant founders of Maisons Pariente, for inviting me to share the responsibility and pleasure of evaluating the candidates for the Prix Artistique pour Jeunes Talents, honoring tomorrow’s artists. I’ve been following the growth of the Pariente Group, now in its fifth year, with as many beautiful properties — luxurious hotels that make one feel at home away from home. They collaborate with architects, designers, and artists who are leaving their mark, some of whom I have the pleasure of working with. I’m overjoyed to join the esteemed jury for this promising prize, its president and my dear friend Charles Zana, alongside Isis-colombe Combreas, Kimi Cohen Pariente, Amélie du CHALARD and Michèle Dard. We recently had the pleasure of hosting this year’s cohort of United in Design apprentices for a welcome breakfast at our London gallery. The programme was established in 2020 by Sophie Ashby and Alex Dauley with the goal of addressing the lack of #diversity in #design and #architecture. Over the last few years, we’ve welcomed two fabulously talented individuals for internships, (hello Josephine Mensah and Jayda-Leigh Barham) and are thrilled to have Lucia Lanzalaco in our London office for the next six months. Ever since my first visit to Mumbai, I knew that we would one day launch The Invisible Collection in India with a team, office, and (very soon) a gallery. After all, the French fascination with #karigari, the culture of craftsmanship that celebrates ancestral methods of making, is a tale as old as time — one that I’d personally discovered many years ago through the extraordinary designs of Atelier Ashiesh Shah and the embroidery of LESAGE INTERIEURS. I also have a number of very dear Indian friends - all of whom are some of the most stylish and inspiring people I know. This love of making, coupled with the extraordinary #creativity of Indian cities and homes, makes it the perfect spot for us as brand that promotes the world’s most beautiful, collectible designs. We are so grateful to Atelier Ashiesh Shah and amazing friends for the warm welcome. And to Alexis de Ducla, our new India Director who’ll be spearheading our operations there. It's safe to say that the first edition of India Design ID Mumbai was a huge success. A special thanks to Misha Bains for her support and kindness! Here’s to a new chapter of beauty, creativity, and a shared passion for collectible design! 🥂

We are delighted to share the news of Invisible Collection's launch in India: our very own office, lead by our new India Director, Alexis de Ducla, and soon, an inspiring gallery. The announcement took place during #DesignWeek in Mumbai and was celebrated at Masque Restaurant – one of India’s most forward-thinking culinary venues, designed by Atelier Ashiesh Shah – in the company of interior design luminaries. The luncheon was co-hosted by Aashti Bhartia, Vice Chairperson of Ogaan Media; Ashiesh Shah, founder of Atelier Ashiesh Shah; and The Invisible Collection’s co-founders, Isabelle Dubern-Mallevays and Lily Froehlicher.
