We support young leaders who are transforming their communities.

About us

The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust (QCT) was launched in 2018 in recognition of Her Majesty The Queen’s lifetime of service to others and her love for the Commonwealth and its young people. We are driven by her vision, and through our work with Young Leaders all over the world we are creating a lasting legacy in Her Majesty’s name. We put young Commonwealth leaders at the centre of everything we do, and provide their organisations with flexible funding to invest where it has the greatest impact, practical tools and support to make their organisations sustainable and more impactful, and a vibrant network of over 850 like-minded young leaders to share learnings and ideas. We have set up the QCT Platinum Jubilee Fund for 70 Young Leaders in support of their initiatives and in celebration of our Patron’s Platinum Jubilee and 70 years of service. You can help us to unlock their potential.

Recently The Queen's Commonwealth Trust Young Leaders had the pleasure of meeting with each other from various countries gathered for Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2024 in Apia, Samoa. They also had a chance to arrange a interesting sideline meeting and discussion where they delved into critical issues that matter deeply to their generation and their countries such as climate action, youth engagement, entrepreneurship, and fostering global youth collaboration for inclusive climate initiatives. The perspectives and innovative ideas shared reaffirmed the incredible impact of collective action. Together, QCT and QCT Young Leaders envision a future where young voices not only drive change but are integral to sustainable solutions. “It was a great learning opportunity to engage, learn, and collaborate with such passionate changemakers.”, Taimoor Siddiqui, QCT Young Leader from Pakistan and Petronilla Molioo, Queen’s Young Leader 2018 from Samoa QCT Young Leaders who met at CHOGM 2024 included, Safaath Ahmed Zahir, Taimoor Siddiqui, @Patronilla Moolio, Mohammad Yaaseen Edoo, and Shomy Hasan Chowdhury.
