Cracking caused by something you wouldn't suspect! 🛠️ Last month one of our Directors, from the Lancaster office, went to do a property inspection after the owners reported signs of cracking that they suspected were caused by foundation movement. 👷🏻♂️ The owners had noticed visible cracks appearing in the walls and floor of the property, raising concerns about the structural integrity of their home. 🛠️ Phil was tasked to assess the extent of the damage, identify the underlying cause, and determine whether the cracking was indeed linked to foundation movement or if it might be caused by other factors. 👷🏻♂️ Want to find out what caused the cracking and what we found within our investigation? 🏫 When Storm Eowyn hit the UK in January of this year, various clients up and down the country contacted us to inspect damage to their properties caused by the storm's high winds. 👷🏻♂️ Our teams were tasked with assessing the extent of the damage and helping the clients with the necessary solutions to repair any damage that was found. 🏫 One of the team from the Lancaster office, Director Phil Howden, was asked to inspect a School within Lancashire as a wall from one of the buildings had collapsed. 👷🏻♂️ Want to know more about this job? Last month, one of our directors, Phil Howden, was tasked with conducting a series of structural survey inspections, to assess a variety of issues across different properties. The properties ranged from residential homes to commercial buildings, each presenting its own unique set of challenges. One of the surveys that Phil completed was on a domestic property to identify what the cause of movement was in a bay window. What a weekend Jeff and Scott had!! 🎸 Scott and Jeff performed at the School Aid Music Festival two weekends ago and it's safe to say that they both had a great time.
