Cyber Crisis Simulation Day with Node4 Ltd, and Cognitas Global ThreeTwoFour recently put a group of Node4 colleagues through a half day crisis management exercise, simulating a #ransomware attack on a fictitious company using the ‘View360Global’ Platform from our partners at Cognitas Global.  Insights from the session:  🛡 Realistic scenario: Participants immersed themselves in a simulated cyber-attack scenario, mirroring real-world threats faced by organisations today.   From initial detection to containment and recovery, every moment was filled with high-stakes decision-making.     🛡Strategic decision-making: Teams swiftly analysed the situation, strategised responses, and made critical decisions under pressure.   The simulation provided a platform to test and refine crisis management protocols, enabling readiness for actual emergencies.   🛡Collaborative efforts: Effective communication and coordination were emphasised, highlighting the importance of unified action during crises.   In a real crisis, cross-functional collaboration will be key as teams come together, pooling expertise from IT, security, legal, communications, and leadership.   🛡Learning opportunities: Participants gained valuable insights into their organisation's strengths and areas for improvement in cyber incident response.   Post-simulation debriefs facilitated reflective discussions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.   📊 Next steps: Continued training, regular simulations, and staying updated on emerging threats are crucial steps in staying ahead of cyber adversaries.
