Jean-Philippe Laborde MD of Tilda was interviewed on BBC Business, talking to Sally Bundock about Tilda’s recent achievements in tackling the environmental impact of rice cultivation. By championing the innovative 'Alternate Wet Drying' growing technique, methane emissions have been almost halved and farmer’s water consumption reduced by a significant 27%. There are further multiple benefits that are correlated to the program and full details are in the latest Impact Report published by Tilda. Tilda's Management Team joined the afternoon shift at The Felix Project Kitchen. Altogether that day they prepared 4,002 freshly cooked meals to be distributed to charities working to combat food poverty in London. As part of our long-standing partnership with The Felix Project each week, Tilda delivers rice to support the kitchen and donates food products for their foodbank network.
