To be awarded Joint Craft Company of the Year at the British Arrows alongside our friends at Trim Editing and Factory Studios Ltd is a huge honour. It's testament to all the incredibly talented, hard working people in the TBA family and it's great to be recognised for all that they do.
About us
Time Based Arts is a Visual Effects company located in London, UK. We make films, commercials, music videos and other interesting creative projects that rely upon time. Friends and alumni from the coveted 'Electronic Imaging' Postgraduate course in Duncan of Jordanstone: Mike Skrgatic and James Allen opened the doors to the company in 2008. Since those early days Time Based Arts has sought to work with the best international directors, artists, creatives and storytellers. We produce ground-breaking VFX and continue to redefine how post production is perceived in what is an area of rapidly evolving high craft. We have been fortunate enough to pick up many accolades for some of the most widely awarded projects of the last ten years. With the addition of Colour, headed up by Simone Grattarola, Time Based Arts has expanded into the world of feature and episodic content creation. As an artist-run company, support for our talented team is at the heart of what we believe in. We continue to grow our group and to encourage youth and diversity in our ranks. What started as the vision of two has grown to become a team of more than 50 incredible people who continue to cultivate the spirit of the company. We speak with passion because we are proud of our crew, our collaborators and the work we create together.
