Flooring looking good at our scheme in Southall! We’ve been in early to install acoustic backed LVT and carpets to a couple of show flats. The marketing suite was completed a few weeks ago in herringbone tiles. Main works are due to start this spring, and we’re looking forward to seeing how these apartments turn out. This new development will offer a range of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments across various tenures with fantastic transport links to central London. It was great to check in on one of our jobs in Oxford yesterday —making some good progress! Titan Flooring Limited are installing carpet tiles, linoleum, timber flooring and ceramic tiling - while there’s still a way to go, most of the tiles are already down and things are shaping up nicely ahead of completion mid-2025. Situated north of Oxford the project will eventually provide flexible co-working spaces, meeting rooms, a café-bar, retail units and community spaces. Two state-of-the-art laboratory buildings will add approximately 11,000m2 of cutting-edge facilities, supporting Oxford’s growing innovation sector. A fantastic project for a valued client!

We will shortly commence works on Sunderland's new Eye Hospital. The site situated in Sunderland's city centre's Riverside Regeneration area will continue Sunderland’s proud legacy of providing specialist eye care for people across the North East and beyond. It will house the region’s nationally renowned Cataract Treatment Centre, a 24/7 Eye Emergency Department and, for the first time, have a Day of Surgery Admissions unit. This is where patients coming in for surgery will have their procedure before being discharged home later that day.  There will also be dedicated facilities for children who will have their own waiting and recovery area. The new Eye Hospital will continue to support world-leading research and provide much improved education and training facilities for its own staff, as well as those training in the region and starting out in their NHS careers. The new building will be completely paper free at the point of care as the Trust continues its work as one of the most digitally advanced Trusts in the whole NHS. This Autumn we started works on several major projects and are pleased to announce the launch of our Guildford Plaza Project, a transformative new development led by our London team featuring 301 co-living studios and a range of vibrant communal spaces. This project will span four interconnected buildings, with heights ranging from 5 to 7 storeys, and include essential amenities such as lounges, kitchens and dining areas, a gym, yoga studios, a launderette, and co-working spaces, all designed to foster social interaction and community-building. Each studio offers residents a private, spacious living area with their own bathroom and kitchenette, while also providing access to shared spaces for networking and collaboration. Visit to Nora Production Facility in Weinheim, Germany This week, we had the pleasure of visiting the nora by Interface Production Facility in Weinheim, Germany, where we were warmly welcomed by our hosts. Together with our client Mace, representing MAG (Airports Group) we enjoyed an informative factory tour that offered valuable insights into the sustainable production of Nora's award-winning nTx products. These products are used by major companies worldwide and have been specified for many of the Groups airport developments across the UK, both current and in previous phases. The new second pier at Manchester Airport will feature 12 additional gates, will significantly enhance passenger capacity and facilitate direct boarding onto aircraft. Designed to accommodate various plane sizes, including the Airbus A380, this extension will boost the airport's efficiency and versatility. Passengers can look forward to a premium travel experience with spacious boarding areas, ample seating, and stunning airfield views. Exciting News: Launch of One Clapham! Happy to announce the upcoming start of one of our latest projects: One Clapham. Situated within the prestigious St Johns Hill redevelopment, this exciting development will feature 307 residential units spread across six unique brick buildings. We are proud to share that Practical Completion was achieved earlier this year by our valued client, Kier Group London, on the impressive Mulberry Academy London Dock project. Titan was responsible for delivering the Drylining, Suspended Ceilings, Acoustic Panels & Rafts, and Specialist Timber Panelling packages. Collaborating closely with Horbury Joinery and Titan Flooring Limited, our Horbury Group Companies expertly delivered the carpentry and flooring packages, ensuring a seamless approach across all trades. This project is particularly special as Mulberry Academy London Dock is one of the first Passivhaus schools in London. Designed with exceptional air quality and minimal environmental impact, it required meticulous attention to detail throughout construction. The project team rose to the challenge, incorporating Passivhaus detailing into the drylined systems to deliver a building of outstanding quality. At Titan Flooring Limited, we’re constantly striving to enhance our health and safety practices, not just for our operatives but for everyone on site. Building on our previous approach of using basic tape to alert site traffic, these new signs will clearly mark off work areas, creating a physical barrier to protect both our team and other site operatives from potential risks. With a strong focus on preventing slips, trips, and falls, this initiative represents a key part of our ‘The Horbury Way’ approach, which underpins our dedication to safety and continuous improvement.
