🎬 The Science of Cinema: How Neurocinematics Can Enhance Movie Experiences for Those with Additional Needs 🎬 We all know that films can make us laugh, cry, or feel deeply connected—but did you know there’s actual science behind it? Neurocinematics explores how our brains react to movies, and this knowledge could help improve cinema experiences, especially for people with additional medical needs. At Together For Cinema (TFC), we create cinema rooms in hospices and care centres, offering immersive spaces for families to connect, relax, and escape. Understanding neurocinematics allows us to enhance these spaces, tailoring lighting, sound, and accessibility to create truly meaningful experiences. Read more about how science is shaping the future of accessible cinema and how TFC is using these insights to make a difference. 📖 Read the full article below 👇 Want to find out how you can get involved, connect with Ian Morrish to find out more... #Neurocinematics #CinemaForAll #TogetherForCinema #Accessibility #FilmScience

Together For Cinema's 48th donated Cinema Room was recently opened at The Dorset Children's Foundation in Boscombe, Dorset. Installed by the very wonderful team from Living Home Technology, here, I am interviewing Gemma Cardona who works at The Dorset Children's Foundation, and also has a son with epilepsy and cerebral palsy who loves the new cinema room, and has already enjoyed lots of films and even a movie party with his friends! This really is a very special cinema space for some very special people. The Dorset Children's Foundation has an incredibly tight budget and needs assistance to keep cradling the over 600 local childen that they work with. For our industry to donate their new cinema room means so much to them, and so many families will benefit for many years. Thanks again to the AV industry for stepping up again to make this happen, including Starscape Star Ceilings Ltd, Control4 and Snap One, Webro Cables & Connectors and M&K Sound / Miller & Kreisel - we simply couldn't do it without you... 🙏🏻 #givingback #togetherforcinema #cedia #dcf #avindustry #makeadifference
