What exciting work being done! Regular maintenance is crucial for preventing major breakdowns like the one you described. Having our comprehensive maintenance plans help identify potential issues before they escalate. 😅
Offshore Equitorial Guinea After 2 years of this Carrier 30HXC chiller being offline it has finally been brought back to life. It’s been quite a critical situation as they have been running on 1 chiller in all that time so if that had failed there would have been major issues onboard. Faults included: Wrong software version on MBB boards (even after being sent back to Carrier for reprogramming) DIP switch settings were incorrect 400A MCB failure CHW sensor corroded and not reading System overcharged due to EEV cable plugs connected to wrong ports on the board ie it was driving the wrong valve so EEV was permanently closed and causing pumpdown. (Low pressure doesn’t always mean low gas charge) Liquid line and EEV flooded with oil -removed over 10L from A circuit HP switch faulty 3 days of major troubleshooting and reverse engineering 2yrs of attempted repairs and it’s now back up and running.
