*URGENT APPEAL FOR TENTS* Thank you to Home Secretary Suella Braverman for calling into sharp focus our need for tents so people sleeping rough can survive living on the street. Perhaps MPs' starring in 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' and 'SAS Who Dares Wins' has confused our Home Secretary's understanding of a 'lifestyle choice'. This policy may begin with the theft of tents only to end in the theft of dignity, safety and our common humanity, right from under us. Trinity are requesting people kindly donate their tents to our Furniture Stores, Day Centre and Offices. Sleeping bags, warm clothing also required and welcome. Tent drop off sites are: ⛺ SHOC, Quaker Meeting House, 74 Ragstone Road, Slough, SL1 2PX ⛺ Trinity Homeless Projects, Redford Way, Uxbridge, UB8 1SZ ⛺ Trinity Furniture Store Hayes, 3-7 Willow Tree Lane, UB4 9BB PLEASE SHARE! Thank you, the Trinity & SHOC Team ~ Trespass ~ Decathlon ~ Millets ~

  • Today Trinity took part in the Brunel University Volunteering fair. We spoke to many students about our opportunities volunteering in our stores and houses and how our work placements could help with their degrees and qualifications . We made great new contacts and can’t wait to work with the university and its students in the near future . It was also a lovely opportunity to catch up with other charities and small businesses in the local community. ❤️ #volunteering #bruneluniversity #trinity #homeless #community

  • Today Trinity attended the Seetec Pluss “Live to be well” event in Uxbridge. We were one of many local charities and small businesses who met many of Seetecs clients, spoke about the amazing work our charity does, our plans for the future and details about volunteering and fundraising. We had positive feedback and are excited about the relationships we have formed today and working together in the future. It was also a pleasure to met our Mayor Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana who gave a very heart felt speech about community and giving back.

🥂 Celebrating 250 years, Veuve Clicquot unveiled the Solaire Culture exhibition. Honouring Madame Clicquot's legacy, the exhibition showcased commissioned artworks by modern artists. 🍾 💚 Before the exhibition's grand launch in London, a mission was set in motion – to create a sustainable event that would leave a positive mark beyond its run, and partnering with ARTER, True Staging, Polar Black Events and Event Cycle enabled Veuve Clicquot to transform the event into a sustainability triumph. ♻️ 🌟 An impressive 54 furniture pieces, 210m2 of carpet and 50 plinths found new homes with charities including Holme Farm, bemix UK and Trinity Homeless Projects - saving nearly 10 tonnes of CO2-equivalent (tCO2e) from items not being purchased new! The exhibition's social impact reached £89,200, benefitting 17 charities and supporting 10 UN Sustainable Development Goals. 🌱🤝 💖 Success stories like this show the huge impact of donating event materials. Beyond the glitz and glamour, events can spark change, build communities, and promote sustainable practices.
