Adapting to the climate challenge: how UCL is developing a new approach to the challenge of net zero. One of the best things about the UCL Policy Lab is the genuinely interdisciplinary work that goes on across UCL. And the climate challenge is a prime example. The UCL Grand Challenges Climate Crisis group led by Lisa Vanhala is doing incredible work, not just marshalling the facts but also helping build consensus, reaching across politics to create solutions that can support real change for communities across Britian and around the world. We spoke to Lisa about the climate group and her own work on international climate negotiations.
