It's great to see our Policy Director for Commercial and Governance, Katrina Ross, in #Rome for the European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA) #Shipping Policy Committee meetings and working groups. Learn more about her work below.👇
Day 2 of the jumbo set of European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA) shipping policy committee meetings and working groups! With heartfelt thanks to: - Costa Crociere S.p.A. (Costa Cruises) for hosting us yesterday on the Smeralda cruise ship at the Civitavecchia port, about an hour and 20 mins away from Rome, and - Confitarma - Confederazione Italiana Armatori and in particular Laurence Martin for hosting us in their mind-blowing offices in Rome (I have to admit, it is somewhat difficult to concentrate at meetings when there are stunning art and sculptures surrounding you!) Fantastic to connect with my counterparts from the various national shipowners associations in Europe to discuss shared policy challenges on market access, industrial strategies and the Draghi report, borders and customs, tax, sustainability reporting, electoral developments, free trade agreements, combatting drug trafficking and Red Sea developments.
