Since 1997, we’ve helped invest National Lottery and Government Exchequer funding to transform Britain’s elite sporting system.   • The first UK hosted major event of the year is here! The World Wheelchair Curling Championships are underway, marking a crucial mile-stone🥌 on the journey to Milano Cortina 2026. These championships are the final opportunity for World Curling Member associations to earn Paralympic qualification points, determining the wheelchair curling teams that will take centre stage at the Paralympic Winter Games. The excitement doesn't stop this week though, with competition sliding into next week too as the Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Championship begins. #WheelchairCurling #Paralympics #MilanoCortina2026

  • The Football Associations of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have announced their collective intention to submit an expression of interest to FIFA for the United Kingdom to host the Women’s World Cup in 2035. The declaration of interest will be submitted to FIFA in the first quarter of 2025 and the bid is to be submitted during the fourth quarter. A decision on the tournament host is then anticipated to take place during the second quarter of 2026. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gpPMZAhB
