🟣⚪Premier League returns to the U.S. for Summer Series 2025 in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta. 🟣⚪ The Premier League is coming back to the United States in 2025, with the announcement of the return of the Premier League Summer Series.  The second edition of the pre-season tournament will bring world-class soccer and a Premier League matchday experience to three iconic locations in the U.S. from 26 July to 3 August. The purpose of FAL is to support Premier League and EFL Clubs with succession planning and diversity in Academy leadership, through a programme that develops a diverse group of individuals and prepares them for leadership positions within the Academy system. FAL welcomes applications from individuals with the desire and potential to progress to an Academy Leadership role in the future. Applicants can be in any role, from any organisation, and are not required to be employed within a Club or Academy, but they must have clear aspirations to be in an Academy Leadership role in the future. As a key outcome of this programme is to support and promote diversity within the leadership of the Academy system, the Premier League will specifically seek and welcome applications from a wide range of underrepresented groups. How Premier League schemes are addressing coaching diversity gap ⚽ Players from over 100 countries have been bringing their talents to the pitch in the Premier League since the start in 1992, but when you look at the sidelines, it has yet to be matched by similar levels of diversity.  To address this gap the Premier League’s Professional Player to Coach Scheme (PPCS) and Coach Inclusion and Diversity Scheme (CIDS) were launched, providing a pathway for former players and aspiring coaches from underrepresented backgrounds to transition into full-time coaching roles.
