💙💛 Another Life-Saving Ambulance Delivered! This ambulance is the second one we’ve been able to purchase thanks to the generous support of Clinical Partners , who kindly donated funds to help us acquire these incredible vehicles. They are crucial for saving lives in frontline cities under constant shelling in Ukraine. The ambulance was provided by our amazing partners for Medics, whose contacts had different needs and chose to purchase another vehicle for their team. We made sure the vehicle was in good working order, having it thoroughly checked over at a garage. We also used it to collect medical aid and showcased it at our conference this month at Warwick University. From there, Dianne Stafford and Sharon Wright drove it across Europe all the way to Ukraine. It was handed over in Lviv to medical teams near Odesa, working in challenging frontline cities that face heavy attacks and shelling. This ambulance will be used to rescue injured soldiers and civilians and safely evacuate them to safety. Thank you to everyone involved in making this life-saving mission possible! 🚑 Ukrainian Medical Charity in the Press! We are thrilled to share that Leamington Observer has written about our work! Thanks to your support, two fully equipped ambulances are now on their way to Ukraine 🇺🇦 One already running in North-East - in a city suffering daily shelling, while the other is already saving lives in other place, a key medical hub treating wounded soldiers and civilians. Nurse Forum February 2025 Another great achievement for Ukrainian Medical Charity & UMAUK Ukrainian Medical Association of the UK in supporting Ukrainian healthcare professionals! Huge thanks to the NMC Healthcare and Florence Nightingale Foundation for their invaluable support. Gathering nurses and medical professionals at this forum was a crucial step in shaping a better future for Ukrainian nurses in the UK and addressing NHS workforce shortages. Closing event registration in just three days was truly inspiring! This success motivates us to plan even bigger forums in the future. This promises to be an unforgettable evening, where we will come together to enjoy exceptional performances by talented musicians, all in aid of a truly important cause. The concert will take place on 29 November at the Lansdowne Club, and the musical programme will feature a beautiful selection of works by both Western and Ukrainian composers. Highlights include Schubert’s Fantasie in F minor and Leontovych’s cherished Carol of the Bells. Our fundraising campaign for Medical equipment, supplies and logistics to Ukrainian hospitals is now live! We will be sharing our journeys and receiving teams photos with you as we go. We have experience in this as joining together are coordinators of Medical Aid Ukraine and Ukrainian Circle Health Group who have sent jointly over 50 transports to Ukrainian hospital teams over the last 2 years.
