There's not much that could get me out of bed at 3:30am on a Tuesday besides a holiday; however today it was the chance to go on Wake Up To Money on BBC radio 5! Still yawning and on coffee number 3... Host Sean Farrington was great as was Will Walker-Arnott FCSI who acted as sound engineer today too. I talked about The Lilac Review UK, Unhidden and a lot about AI; I didn't get to weigh in on the #MegaMarshmallow debate but I did suggest we need greater transparency in supply chains around chips and how it's a challenge for bigger businesses to convert than for small businesses. Here's the link, I pop in a few times and while I did actually feel a bit out of my depth it was still fun; I enjoyed the nap I had when I got home afterwards too. Thank you Rahila Bano and Rachel Ringstead for your support preparing for today. #DisabledEntrepreneurs #ArtificalIntelligence #TheLilacReview https://lnkd.in/ebrSMPTD

A couple of weeks ago, myself and Wheelsnoheels - Gem Hubbard met in real life (for the first time!) at the BBC Access All studios in Broadcast house. (Loved their revamped studio, it was my second in person visit.. Would be very happy to make it a regular occurance ;-)) We were there to discuss Primark branching out in to adaptive fashion- I won't give any spoilers for our thoughts, you'll have to click the link to listen to it or read the transcript! They do patch in all the models from that campaign- so it isn't quite as white as this image suggests, they just weren't able to come in on that date; never forget the intersection of ethnicity and disability because I am frankly sick of seeing the most needed voices given no platform or opportunity both in front and behind the camera/ mic. #AdaptiveLingerie #InclusiveRetail #RepresentationMatters Link to episode here: https://lnkd.in/emBQU2Cu Alt Text: Three white women inside a podcast studio. Behind them is a screen with purple and blue tones with white text saying Access all, a mic is on the far right. The woman on the left is Emma Tracey, podcast host. She has brown hair, is smiling and has a black shirt on with white dots and black trousers. I am in the centre, with brown hair, red lipstick, royal blue cardigan and trousers and a black tee. Next is Gem Hubbard and she has long blonde hair, is wearing a cream jumper and wide leg jeans and is in a manual wheelchair. A fern plant is in the foreground with some coffee cups visible.
