Celebrating Black History Month! Come and chat to representatives from Glasgow City Council BME staff network. A staff network is a group of colleagues, often with a shared heritage, experience, or characteristic. Through the network they come together to support each other and support the organisation to promote inclusion. They may also be called Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Business Resource Groups (BRGs), Workplace Equality Networks (WENs), or Affinity Groups. At Glasgow City Council this Network is a safe space for BME employees and other allies to discuss the BME experience, equality, and justice alongside ways of improving them. Through speaking to GCC staff you will gain an insight into the benefit of working for an organisation that has a BME staff network and have the opportunity to chat about their own career journeys. #StrathCareers #BlackHistoryMonth
