An enchanting afternoon tea, Bridgerton style at Unique Venues Birmingham ! 😍 Working in partnership with Paula Kelsey, we helped host THE most fabulous FamtasticRocks event yesterday as we stepped into the world of opulence and sophistication! 🫖🥂 We were delighted to welcome some of our lovely Venues of Excellence members, alongside Famtastic agents and clients for a sparkling soirée before the CHS show kicked off today. We had a fantastic time hosting our Winter Members Forum at the historic Keele University Events and Conferencing last week! ❄️ With an agenda focused on sustainability, we were joined by the industry's best experts sharing valuable insights, helping our members to take their eco operations to the next level. 🌱 🗣️ Maxim Gelmann introduced us all to edible tableware, a product first featured on Dragons Den. 👀 His range of cutlery, cups, bowls, plates and straws are all naturally fully compostable, and you can actually eat them, too! 🗣️ 🌳 Amanda Bourne 🌳 shared solutions for carbon offsetting that can be easily added to delegate packages. 🗣️ Femke Millership walked us through the sustainability initiatives that are working best at our venues and identified specific areas where further action was needed. Thank you to Professor Zoe Robinson for sharing insights into the incredible sustainability journey Keele University has been on over the past 20 years and the actions it is taking to prepare for the next 20. 🌍 This impressive venue really does put sustainability at the heart of everything they do, from generating 50% of their electricity from campus renewables to embedding sustainability into 96% of their courses!
