On Monday 30 September VisitAberdeenshire held a recognition evening at The Terrace Bar & Café, His Majesty’s Theatre to celebrate the contribution of our fantastic Welcome to Aberdeenshire volunteers during the 2024 cruise season. During the 2024 cruise season our group of 30 volunteers: 🛳 Greeted 23 cruise ships at North & South Harbours. ⚓ Supported and promoted the volunteer services at the ‘Doors Open’ weekend at South Harbour in September. 👋 Recorded 547 volunteering hours an increase of almost 250 hours from 2023. Thanks to our supporters Aberdeen Inspired, Aberdeen Performing Arts, First Bus and Port of Aberdeen for joining with us to celebrate the efforts of our volunteers. VisitAberdeenshire and the volunteers are looking forward to the 2025 cruise season.
