Today, I’m thrilled to announce YuLife’s partnership with MetLife UK to launch our new Group Income Protection (GIP) offering. 👏 Traditionally, GIP has focused on supporting employees when they’re already ill or injured. Following on from World #Stroke Day yesterday, here is a very brief overview of the NHS "Vocational Rehabilitation" Toolkit recommendations for supporting people to return to work after a stroke. This is what is recommended to be provided - based on patient need, (not on time since stroke or severity of physical disability). There is ongoing research into the effectiveness of various interventions for #returntowork after stroke, and these are tried and tested options, but as you can see there is a wide variety of approaches.
