Cool venue today! We had to get a photo with a view before we left. We were at the American Express Stadium for today's Gatwick Diamond Business meeting. With a brilliant educational seminar from Mark Vaesen and Barney Durrant before the meeting. A whistlestop tour of everything businesses need to know about brand, marketing, google ads, SEO.... I will be looking through the slides. It's great to see so many familiar faces, like Jenny Kelly who has just re-joined. I've found with any business networking groups, it's about going regularly to build those relationships. And next month...it's the MoFloShow as I'm presenting at the educational seminar with Flo Powell MCIPR from Midnight Communications. See you there Alt text Photo 1 - Mo, Bonamy and Katie smiling with stadium behind Photo 2 - Barney and Mark with stadium behind Photo 3 - Jenny Kelly standing to talk to seated members

What a day! The Brighton Chamber team smashed another brilliant Brighton Summit. This time at Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival which was such a great venue to explore all day. A day of learning, inspiration, community and as always with Brighton Chamber events....delicious food! It's a day where you see everyone you know from Brighton's community, but also, you don't get to speak to everyone as there's so many people there. I loved seeing the The Clock Tower Sanctuary, Brighton team there enjoying the day. Highlights for me were: - Running a workshop with Kaia Allen-Bevan 🧡at Watch This Sp_ce we don't often run workshops together, so this was a wonderful experience to share with Kaia. A very proud moment ❤️ - Daisy Cresswell FRSA the fabulous MC who shone all day hosting the event - Getting to hear from Bill Collinson of Bill's Restaurants fame! I go to the Chamber breakfast at Bills most months, so it was brilliant to hear his story - Coding robots with Curiosity Hub, Jacqueline Currie and Katherine Courtney FRAeS, although I think Paige Collins and I might need to learn to read instructions before building 😁 - Delicious lunch, thanks Amy Moore, and I actually sat down and chatted with Bonamy Waddell as we found a quiet bit upstairs - Alison Lapper MBE with an inspiring keynote about her life and our society, and she was so funny and entertaining - Unlocking Brighton's black history with Bert Williams, what a storyteller he is! - And a wonderful final session with Rich Ford interviewing Dr Mya-Rose Birdgirl Craig D.Sc. h.c. with such an important discussion about birds, climate change, and bringing different people into these spaces and discussions. Follow Black2Nature Then we got to experience the new Corn Exchange bar to finish, with an extra bit in the pub afterwards with some Chamber members and then we found the Chamber team too 😁 For those who asked about our book, use code KOGANPAGE20 on the Kogan Page Publishing website, here's a link - https://lnkd.in/gyUUWW5t
