For the sector to address the urgent challenges it faces, it needs diversity of ideas, thought and people, alongside innovation, to develop solutions. Entries to the Ofwat Innovation Fund are required to actively consider equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the design and delivery of their projects. This new blog showcases how two projects are thinking about EDI, to hopefully inspire other projects on their journey. With thanks to Mumin Islam from South Staffs Water for insights into the Water efficiency in faith and diverse communities project, the United Utilities team behind the Mainstreaming nature based solutions project, and Water Discovery Challenge judge Tania Flasck PMP for her thoughts on EDI and innovation.
