💡 Shining in the spotlight this week is our diligent company administrator and marketing assistant, Annie Shipp! As company administrator and marketing assistant, Annie maintains the office and administrative services for Waves Group as well as assisting in all marketing and communications responsibilities. Annie supports the team by ensuring records are up to date and that PPE is managed for onsite attendances. She also assists with social media content management, events and exhibitions. Annie also assists in secretariat duties for Project Tangaroa, successfully planning two workshops in London and Helsinki. During her spare time, you can find Annie spending time in the great outdoors especially with her dog Bertie, cooking, or watching The Arsenal with her season ticket! #administration #marketing #events #socialmedia #PPE

This week, we’re shining the 💡 spotlight on our outstanding Resource Manager, Veronica Descamps! With over 10 years of experience in project management and a PRINCE2 qualification, Veronica plays a key role in ensuring the seamless coordination of our global engineering projects. Her expertise spans back-office operations, stakeholder management, financial oversight, and process improvement. Before joining Waves Group, Veronica honed her skills in the financial sector and international commerce, managing complex global logistics. 💡 In the spotlight this week is our hard-working document controller, Danny Antoine! Danny has over 10 years’ experience as a document controller from working in the investment banking sector, helping to manage real estate office projects in America, Asia, Europe and Middle East as well as providing on-going support for facilities managers. At Waves Group, Danny helps to manage incoming and outgoing information and provides support to the project managers for all projects. Danny is also AutoCAD qualified and has produced and updated 2D drawings for projects. Danny has also experienced working on-site for a major high-end residential building developer, implementing a new document management system and managed and developed processes from planning and tendering through to design, construction and handover. During his spare time, you can find Danny drawing, participating in fitness activities and cooking 🎨 . 💡 Shining in the spotlight this week is our office manager and accounts assistant, Beverley O'Shea! As office manager, Beverley helps to maintain the office and administrative services for Waves Group. She supports our consultants on case and project related administration, helping us to provide an efficient service. Beverley is also the company finance assistant, supporting in all financial operations. She handles a variety of tasks, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budget preparation. During her spare time, you can find Beverley at the gym or working on her travel business ✈️. #finance #projects #administration

With a rich background that spans over 15 years, Jucilla has honed her expertise in marketing, brand development, digital strategy, sales, and business development across a wide range of sectors—including maritime, finance, media, retail, construction, and oil & gas. Armed with a master’s degree in financial management and risk, a bachelor’s in accounting and finance, and CIM professional qualifications in marketing research and planning, Jucilla’s academic credentials complement her impressive industry experience. She’s led global events and driven successful projects in regions like the UK, Caribbean, and Africa. As a board member of Women in Trade and Shipping Association UK (WISTA UK), Jucilla champions diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, further enhancing her leadership role in the industry. Her accomplishments were recognised when she was named one of the Top 100 Women in Shipping 2023. This success has led to the creation of Oceancaster, which will specialise in providing innovative data and visualisation tools to support the investigation and management of maritime incidents. Natasha is Accounts Manager at Waves Group and is responsible for all accounting functions, including purchasing, invoicing and credit control across the company. She is AAT Part Qualified and has over 20 years’ experience within accounts departments across a range of industries including private and public sector organisations.
