  • It’s here! #Digital2025 has landed, with 630+ pages of digital, social, mobile and e-commerce data and trends. Here are some of the highlights: 🤳 There are now 5.24 billion active social media user identities around the world, equating to 63.9% of all the people on Earth. ⏰ The typical internet user spends 2 hours and 21 minutes using social media each day. 🧠 Half of all adult social media users now visit social platforms to learn more about brands. 💼 More than 1 in 3 active social media users say that they use social platforms for work-related activities. 🎧 More than 1 in 5 online adults now listen to at least one podcast each week. #️⃣ The 6.6 billion TikToks tagged with “#FYP” attracted an incremental 24 trillion views in 2024 alone. 📈 LinkedIn’s global ad reach has increased by a hefty 17% over the past year, and Pinterest reported ad reach grew by more than 10% in 2024. ☝️ Social media ad spend has increased to $243 billion, a 15% rise year-on-year - and investment in influencer marketing increased by 14%. 🤯 ChatGPT racked up more than a quarter of a billion monthly active users between September and November 2024.   • New work from We Are Social France 🌟 A Before/After in advertising like never before… and above all, 100% anti-fake! 👀 The promise of Avène’s new anti-blemish cream is clear: it reduces spot size by 92% in 15 days and has visible results from day one. But how could we prove it authentically, in an era of AI and filters, to a generation that no longer trusts traditional advertising? We chose to invest in a space that resonates with Gen Z, focused on immediacy and transparency: BeReal, the only platform guaranteed to be filter-free. Several content creators tested the cream for two weeks and shared an unfiltered photo of their experience on Avène’s BeReal account.
