We’re at a critical moment for the UK’s decommissioning supply chain.   New research by Westwood Global Energy Group has shown that the UK’s total decommissioning bill could jump by billions of dollars thanks to political and fiscal uncertainty, rising supply chain costs, declining domestic production, and the loss of expertise and assets to more stable foreign markets.   With growing disparity between decommissioning workload and contract awards, there’s a mountain of work to be completed in the North Sea alone.
