Landing back in the office after a brilliant tour of Liverpool John Lennon Airport, we're reflecting on an amazing opportunity to go behind the scenes, learn about airport operations, and see first-hand how everything runs so smoothly at the 'Which?' best UK Airport! 🛬 A huge thank you to Robin Tudor, volunteers from FOLA (Friends of Liverpool Airport), security staff, and the Airport's onsight Fire & Rescue crew, who all helped provide attendees with a tour to remember! 🙌 Check out our video round-up of the tour below 👇

Kicking off 2025 at the West Cheshire Women’s Network in style and what a way to do it as we hit our first milestone of 100 bookings! 🙌 Attendees were certainly not disappointed as we welcomed the inspiring Helen Tonks MBE from Hydraulics Online Ltd—a truly authentic and genuine businesswoman and leader. 👏 Helen’s journey—from childhood sweethearts to running a multi-award-winning business alongside her husband, trading internationally, and pioneering online sales long before it was mainstream—offered just a glimpse of her superpowers. Her personal and professional story left the room inspired and energized, ready to take on Thursday with the mindset that anything is possible. Her humility and humanity shone through, perfectly illustrated by her mantra: “Treat the cleaner the same way as the CEO.” A standout moment? When an attendee’s mobile phone went off mid-presentation, Helen simply smiled, gestured reassuringly, and said, “Not to worry, we’ve all done it—relax.” She then seamlessly carried on, continuing to captivate her audience. Thank you, Helen! This is what makes the West Cheshire Women’s Network so special. We can’t wait to see you to the next meeting on June 12th!
