Er gwaethaf ymdrechion storm Éowyn mae ein bwi Marinus wedi aros yn lê ac yn parhau i gasglu data fel rhan o gynllun monitro MCRP. Bydd y data yn ddefnyddiol wrth datblygu cynllun Morlais, ond hefyd y diwydiant ynni llif llanw trwy byd. Despite the best efforts of storm Éowyn our Marinus bouy is still there and continued to collect data as part of the Marine Characterisation Research Project. This data will be useful as we develop Morlais, as well as the tidal energy sector around the globe. 🌊 Data boost for growth of UK’s tidal #energy industry 🌊   Environmental survey data collected as part of the Menter Môn Morlais Ltd tidal stream scheme in North Wales is to be made publicly available on The Crown Estate’s Marine Data Exchange (MDE)!   The data covers bird and marine mammal monitoring and has been collected during the Marine Characterisation Research Project, which The Crown Estate has co-funded.   The MDE is a world-leading collection of marine industry survey data which aims to encourage #collaboration and innovation, supporting efforts to develop the seabed sustainably whilst protecting the UK’s #marine environment.   Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eikZTnz5   #Tidal #Renewables #EnergyTransition #TheCrownEstate

Byddwn yn rhedeg cyfres o weithdai ar y gadwyn gyflenwi bwyd dechrau'r flwyddyn yma gyda cyfraniadau gan nifer o arbenigwyr yn y maes. Bydd y gweithdai yn cael ei cyflwyno gyda cefnogaeth Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government o dan faner Busnes Cymru / Business Wales. We will be running a series of workshops on the food supply chain over the next quarter, with contributions from a number of specialists in the sector. The workshops are supported by the Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government under the Business Wales baner. Mae yna gymaint fwy i Morlais na cynhyrchu ynni glan. Mae ein cynllun monitro MCRP yn casglu data morol er mwyn cefnogi'r diwydiant ynni llanw trwy'r byd, a sicrau nad yw'n amharu ar fywyd gwyllt. Hyd yma rydym wedi casglu 40 terabyte o ddata (neu 40,000 gigabyte) fydd yn cael ei gadw yna ganolog ar y Marine Data Exchange. There is more to Morlais than the MWs. The MCRP project collects marine data in order to support the global tidal energy sector, and protect the wildlife. To date we have collected 40 terabytes of data (or 40,000 gigabytes) which will be stored on the Marine Data Exchange.\ Thanks to The Crown Estate, Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and the Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government for their support.
