Launch Access Ltd had a VERY busy week at Westcott Venture Park last week, delivering more than thirty rocket launches, carrying more than fifty CanSat payloads for hundreds of students from across the South East. Despite breezy conditions making recovery a little more tricky, the unseasonal warm and sunny weather made it a great few days for all the CanSat teams, and for our staff (apart from me actually getting sunburnt on two of the days!) We managed to maintain our 100% recovery record for the rockets and the CanSats despite a couple of CanSats with small dark green parachutes (not easy to find in several tens of acres of tall grass) being lost for four days and finally found just before we left on Friday. The CanSat UK competition continues next week with launches in Essex and then we move on to the Scottish and Yorkshire launch venues the week after that. Here's hoping the weather continues to be drier than last year!
