Meet Molly 👋   From Housekeeper ➡️ Receptionist ➡️ Paralegal ➡️ Trainee Solicitor 🚀   When Molly picked up a part-time job at Premier Inn while studying Law, she didn’t expect it to lead to a legal career. But at Whitbread, there's no limits to your ambition.    After five years of hard work and support from her managers, Molly is now on a training contract to become a Qualified Solicitor.   As Clare Thomas, General Counsel, said: "We are thrilled to be able to offer Molly the well-deserved opportunity to embark on a legal training contract with Whitbread. "I’ll tell you what the big difference between Premier Inn and the others was… the interview."    When we caught up with Roisin, Head Housekeeper at Premier Inn, to find out what made her choose the UK's most loved hotel brand as an employer, the answer was clear. 👆   Interviews can be daunting, there's no doubt about that, but especially when you've decided to step into a new industry.    👩💼Business dress, four-person panels and question after question to prove why you're the right fit for a company, were some of the additional stresses she experienced when interviewing for housekeeping roles at other hotel brands. ❌   However, when she turned up at Premier Inn, she got the warm welcome we’re known for - had an informal chat and a preview of the role. 🙏🏻 Thank you Manchester and the Annual Hospitality Conference (AHC) As the UK’s largest hotel operator it feels right that we're part of conference events that focus on our part of the hospitality market - the branded mid-scale and economy sector. AHC is one of them and we were active across the two day event in the conference hall, on the speaker programme and in fringe events across the city.
