About us
We are an adult hospice that provides FREE care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also support carers and loved ones; families are at the heart of everything at our charity. Although some NHS funding is received, the majority of our income is donated by individuals, families, community groups, local companies and charitable trusts. Every penny counts and can help us to make a real difference to the specialist palliative care we provide for our patients and support to those important to them. Thank you for whatever support you are able to give us.

💙🚴♂️ A heartfelt #ThankYou to Mandy who - along with her partner and friends - recently took on an incredible 77-mile cycling challenge in aid of #WirralHospice. They have raised a phenomenal £2,321 to date, and their online page is still open if you wish to show your support: https://lnkd.in/eDfj3K4Y Mandy shares the motivation behind their epic challenge: “Wirral Hospice St John’s gave such loving and supportive care to my mum in her final weeks that we thought we should give something back. I came up with the idea of organising a charity cycling challenge. On Sat 27 July, we set off from The Byres Courtyard, Todenham in the North Cotswolds and finished on the lawns of The Royal Crescent, Bath, where we had a cream tea and a glass of fizz to toast my beautiful mum and say a BIG ‘thank you’ to Wirral Hospice! My partner, Leon, joined me for the first 57 miles finishing at Sherston in Wiltshire. From there, friends Helen, Doug and Julie teamed up with me for the final 20-mile leg to Bath. We had a fabulous turnout for the celebrations in the park with friends and family coming from all parts of the country - including three from Ireland.
