I won the Young Businesswoman of the Year Award! 🌟 I’m so honored and deeply thankful to be named Young Businesswoman of the Year by Women's Business Club ! This journey has been one of growth, connection, and purpose, and I owe so much to the incredible people I’ve met along the way. Starting as a holistic life coach, my goal was simple: to empower women and people from all backgrounds to find purpose, build resilience, and lead authentically. Along this journey, I’ve learned a few things that I hope will inspire others: 1. Embrace Your Journey – Every experience, good or challenging, shapes you. Trust it. 2. Lead with Purpose – When you’re grounded in your “why,” everything else falls into place. 3. Lift Others as You Grow – True success is empowering those around you to thrive too. Thank you to my clients, mentors, and Women’s Business Club for this incredible honor. And congratulations to winners of other awards! Let’s keep pushing boundaries and lifting each other up! Amazing job Alex 👏 We love seeing you go from strength to strength.
Today, I was announced as a runner up for The Women’s Business Club award for Founder of the Year and honestly I am so thrilled. I was made up when I got the email to say I was nominated. I was then pleasantly surprised when I actually made the list of finalists. I looked at the others on that list and, whether it was imposter syndrome or self awareness, I thought to myself, “this is as far as you’ll get” And I was made up with that. Women's Business Club has been operating since 2013 - they have franchises across the country and Angela De Souza has done an incredible job of promoting and cheerleading women in business in the U.K. The awards each had an external sponsor who judged that category - the Founder of the Year was judged by Claire Wright of the Cambridge University Business School. So I was shocked and delighted when my name was called as a runner up! To be in the top 3 Female Founders nominated is an incredible honour. But most of all, today I have made so many genuine connections! Meeting people I’ve been connected with for a long time but never met, meeting others I’ve never come across and discovering how much we have in common. I walked into this event knowing a small handful of people. I walk away with a whole host of new supporters and people I can support in return!

Not a bad conference venue! Lovely venue at the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh for a more dramatic stand than expected. Great to be getting some feedback on action box from the Women's Business Club conference.
