We combine the power of storytelling, design and technology to create impossibly personal books. (We’re hiring!)

About us

Wonderbly is the world’s leading personalised publishing company. We make wonderful, unique books for wonderful customers all over the world. Our mission is to make people feel extraordinarily special, and bring them closer to the people they love, through the power of personalised stories. So far we’ve shipped over 10 million books to over 150 countries. We’ve done this in just eight years, and we’re just getting started. Getting personalised books to all those millions of customers requires a multidisciplinary team. Our people have experience across editorial design, research, production, software engineering, marketing, ecommerce, data analysis, print-on-demand manufacturing, shipping… the list goes on. This means that Wonderbly is a very collaborative and creative place to work, with opportunities for growth and development across a broad range of skills. We’re based mainly in London, where we have a bright and light studio for working together. But like many digital first companies, we have a hybrid operating model with many colleagues working much of the time remotely. Our values Wonderbly’s values were born from the three enduring qualities at the heart of ‘Lost My Name’ - our original and best-selling children’s book. These values are Courage, Curiosity and Kindness. And although they naturally have a child-friendly ring to them, these are deeply human values that we believe everyone should live by. COURAGE - means taking calculated risks and trying things that no one else would. It's setting audacious goals, seeing them through, and being willing to be wrong. CURIOSITY - means investing in learning, never losing sight of ‘WHY’. Curiosity allows us to ask silly questions, explore our blind spots, and dip into other disciplines for inspiration. KINDNESS - is the Wonderbly heart: it’s no coincidence that deep friendships form here. Kindness means making space for one another, inclusivity as standard, and clear, direct communication.

Last week we embarked on a charity walk across London! We departed Wonderbly HQ and walked to the Tate in aid of a charity incredibly close to our hearts; Mind Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge. In true Wonderbly style, we nattered all the way and barely noticed the time pass 😆 We raised a total of £1330 and hope our contribution can make a difference to those in need. We're passionate about giving back and give employees one paid charity day per month and with the help of our new friends at Matchable Volunteering, we can give our employees access to opportunities that align with their values and skills... So watch this space for more charity fun!!

🥁 *** Drum Roll*** Wonderbly has been accredited as a B Corp, scoring an impressive 98. This achievement is a testament to our foundational belief that businesses can and should be a force for good. It is incredibly gratifying to see that our dedication to our customers, employees, the environment, and our community is not only right but also fruitful. We have always been mindful of our impact in the broadest sense of the word. Here are some of the areas we scored loads of positive points for as part of the B-corp accreditation process: Our personalised books have proven to have a positive cultural impact globally 💪 We turn our books into moments of deep connection, recognition and joy so the people who receive them feel valued, loved, seen and loved ❤️ Children (and increasingly grownups) see themselves represented in stories and there's a growing body of evidence of the positive impact this makes - personalisation is empowering and increasing self belief and empathy 💪 By being 100% POD, and making books to read over and over again and keep forever, we are virtually zero waste publisher . We use paper with very high environmental credentials, there's virtually no toxic stuff in any part of the production and we don't use any plastic in our packaging 🌎 We strive to provide the highest possible customer care 🤗 Our company culture is inclusive, caring and people-centred 👐 We support various charities and local schools with cash as well as books donations 🌟

Reposting from Asi Sharabi 🎉 Wonderbly Surpasses 10 Million Personalised Books Sold! 📚 That's exciting isn't it!? As we mark this extraordinary milestone at Wonderbly, we find myself reflecting on the pillars that have upheld our journey from the first to the ten-millionth book: All about the grit: Behind this seemingly glamorous achievement is an endless series of ups and downs, twists and turns, days filled with self-doubt, weeks ridden with anxiety, one near-near death experience (you can’t call yourself an entrepreneur if you don’t have that star on your belt) and yet we kept going. Huge gratitude to the Wonderbly team, whose dedication and perseverance have been crucial to our success. You inspire me daily. Fortuitous Luck: While hard work has been crucial, we've also been fortunate. Our journey began with a serendipitous hit, Lost My Name, which was a pleasant surprise that exceeded all our expectations reminding us that sometimes, the stars align just right. From there, the challenge for me was clear: don't drop the ball, don’t f**k this up. Luck got us rolling, but grit, and our deliberate and thoughtful actions kept us on track. Obsession with Quality: From our first book we've been obsessed with proving to ourselves and the world that personalised books can be much more than a novelty gift - they are a serious canvas for creativity and a real product of literature. This obsession has made us the best and largest personalised book company in the world. Purpose and Values Over Vision: Over the years of evolving from a startup to a scale-up, I’ve come to realise that vision, while important, can sometimes be overrated. It is purpose and values that truly matter IMHO. Our journey with Lost My Name led us to adopt and embed courage, curiosity, and kindness into our company culture. These values haven’t just shaped our culture; they have been pivotal in driving our success. Finally, "Busy is a Decision": In the early days, amidst demanding jobs and very young families, we had every reason to pass on the project that would become Lost My Name. Yet, we chose to find the time for this little side-project, proving that "busy" is truly a decision. This choice laid the foundation for everything that followed. On the risk of being a cliche - make time for your dreams and passions, at the very least it will make you a happier person. This milestone reflects more than just numbers—it is a celebration of passion, innovation, and collective effort. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey. Our fantastic team, our PSPs, our investors, and of course, our amazing customers. And just to close with some fun data: Of the 10 million books sold, we've created personalised books with 501,617 unique names. Olivia tops the charts with 49,887 books. Even more fascinating—356,906 names have had just one book made for them. How’s that for unique? Thanks a million—actually, ten million!

It is now a tradition that Wonderbly's executive team are cooking and serving Thanksgiving lunch to the whole company. There is plenty of evidence that practicing gratitude dramatically increases our sense of well-being, yet we humans consistently fail to acknowledge our blessings and instead choose to fixate on misfortune...so let us be reminded that generosity and gratitude are possibly the most efficient, effective, cheapest, fastest ways to become more happy. Happy Thanksgiving from everyone at Wonderbly
