About us

World Female Ranger Week (WFRW) is a global awareness week, taking place on June 23-30th annually, to celebrate and support female rangers around the world. WFRW was created by UK charity, How Many Elephants (1186238), founded by Holly Budge, as part of its mission to support conservation efforts worldwide. Currently, less than 11% of the global wildlife ranger workforce is female. How Many Elephants (HME) aims to collate gender-specific data about female anti-poaching rangers, identify their needs, find tangible solutions, and build effective policies to contribute toward positive outcomes for female rangers and conservation as a whole. www.worldfemalerangerweek.org
