Welcome to WRAP! A place where hybrid working feels great, where your children can enjoy on-site childcare, where the coffee flows and the vibe is home-from-home. From carefully curated coworking spaces to beautifully designed meeting rooms and fully customisable private offices. WRAP has everything you need to build a base for your business and your team! As parents of small children, we believed that there must be a better way to cut the commute and ease the daily juggle! We were sick of spending hours in traffic, missing out on precious family moments, and struggling to find reliable childcare that aligned with our work schedules. The constant stress of balancing professional responsibilities with family needs was taking a toll on our well-being. So we decided to utilise our core skills and embark on our new mission: creating a space in the centre of Brighton that facilitated a healthy work-life balance. And in 2021, WRAP was born, a flexible coworking space with a separate onsite nursery enabling busy Brighton professionals to live their work and home lives to the full without compromising on either. WRAP provides a vibrant and supportive community where you can be productive and creative, while knowing your children are cared for just a few steps away. Imagine having a modern workspace equipped with all the amenities you need, combined with the convenience of an onsite nursery, less than a minute’s walk from Brighton Station. No more stressful commutes or juggling different locations. At WRAP, we are committed to making your work-life balance seamless and enjoyable. Our flexible plans, on-site nursery, dedicated events program and wonderful staff are just some of the things that will help you make the most out of your day. Visit our website to learn more and book a tour of our space. Discover how WRAP can help you achieve the perfect balance between your professional and personal life.

✨ A breakfast with purpose! ✨ Our friends at WRAP partnered with Sussex Bay®, Bird & Blend Tea Co. B Corp, and Real Patisserie Ltd to host a meaningful (and delicious!) morning gathering—completely free for the community. ☕🥐 Sussex Bay shared their mission to restore and protect our seascapes and rivers, encouraging attendees to rethink the value of our blue natural capital. All while enjoying fresh pastries and expertly blended teas. Who are they? 🌿 Sussex Bay unlocks funding to restore our seascapes and rivers, supporting marine, riverine, and intertidal recovery projects to benefit both nature and communities. 🏡 WRAP is flexible workspace on Werksy, designed for freelancers, small businesses, and working parents—offering offices, meeting spaces, and even a nursery under one roof. 📍 Want to discover unique events like this near you? Create a Werksy account and find local coworking spaces you can visit anytime—no membership needed. #Werksy #Coworking #MarineConservation #FreeEvents #BrightonLife
This post perfectly captures our mission since we launched WRAP in Brighton in 2021. Parents need more options and flexibility to balance work and childcare. The number of freelancers, self employed parents - and remote workers, is on the rise and the new funded hours are allowing more people to go back to work earlier in their childrens lives. But parents need more flexible options that work around their schedules, to allow them to maximise time at work and with their children. We’re very excited to see more discussions around this taking place. Do you think more cities need spaces like WRAP? Let us know? 👇 #WorkLifeBalanced

8 years ago I had an idea. An idea based on my own lived experience of being a self-employed, #founder mum. What if you could find #flexible workspace + Pay-As-You-Go #childcare under one roof? 🤯 Turns out over 500+ #families in Central London felt the same 🙏 even BBC News thought it was a great idea 🙌 COVID killed this dream. The world got turned upside down. #freelancers had no income. Families left London and the future of the office was uncertain. But fast-forward to today, the data remains compelling… 👉 Post-COVID, while the UK childcare sector offers some flexibility, a significant proportion of parents still report difficulties finding childcare options that fully meet their flexible needs, with around one third experiencing issues accessing sufficiently flexible childcare arrangements depending on their work schedules and location. 👉 Since 2018, the number of freelancers (and in particular #mums) in the UK has been steadily increasing, with some regions showing growth of 25%+ 👉 The cost of childcare for parents with children under two has increased by more than £2,000 a year since 2010, according to new analysis published by Trades Union Congress (The TUC) 👉 Grazia UK reported on a “Quiet Quitting” trend - where many #workingparents are quietly decreasing their paid-for childcare, instead keeping the kids home whilst they work. So… wonderful world of LinkedIn - I’m asking you. Should this concept exist in the world? Flexible childcare that you can scale up or down depending on your work? A safe space filled with a community of #parents just like you? Exceptional childcare that doesn’t break the bank? 💡 If you are a parent of a child under 3years… either a founder, a freelancer, self-employed, or even on #maternityleave and need some “me time” let me know your thoughts using the form below… https://lnkd.in/ea7Jqg4R Thank you 🙏 and for anyone running a freelance/founder community - I would love if you could share this survey with people! Emmie Faust , Sebastian Haire, Frankie Tortora, Lara Sheldrake, Astrid Limal, Francesca (Check) Warner, Kevin Withane (FRSA), Agata Leliwa Nowicka, Tamta Gamezardashvili, Matt Jonns, Lottie Unwin (she/her), Milly Tamati, James Roycroft-Davis, Mums Building Companies, Dads Building Companies, Nicola Telford and anyone else 😊 Let’s build a childcare system that works for everyone 🚀
