Yamination is an award winning animation company, specialising in stop-motion; moulding tradition, craft & innovation that brings all things in-animate, to life.
Founded by multi-award winning director, producer & yam yam animator, Drew Roper & with native Norwegian design guru, Juliet Carmen Teksnes heading the helm, Yamination delivers all aspects of design & production within its walls, thriving on creativity & ingenuity since its creation in 2009.
The studios been prolific fabricating, developing and producing an array of shorts, pilots and TV commercials across a multitude of scales (however tiny), genres & platforms for clients that include Disney, Coca-Cola, Greenpeace, & Roald Dahl, to name but a few. Yamination’s amplifying its productivity by venturing into the exciting world of children’s IP, tailored for long format productions to showcase inspiring & memorable stories for all to enjoy…with tea, & of course, biscuits.
Our workload differs day-to-day, with the diverse projects we create across various platforms, however, as an overview we’re a one-stop-shop for concepts to begin, big or small, be realised, fabricated, and magically, delivered to the highest capability.
So whether it’s generating an idea via scripts, storyboards, (digital) artwork, sculpture, set build, lighting, shooting & compositing etc for a marketing campaign to be realised, or building a 7ft statue of Donald Trump for Roald Dahl, yes, true story (do ask) our fabulous pool of in-house yamfam tinkerers & skilled freelancers are able to turn hands, methods and techniques of exploring the best, most innovative & efficient way of telling compelling & engaging stories, no matter the medium.
The future of our company, lies heavily on the future itself, our children. We’ve ventured into the children’s entertainment sector (TV series, feature films & specials) & very excitingly have 2 kids TV series in development, which we aim to bring both, to your screens, in the coming years.
