Award-winning integrated communications agency, helping brands and businesses punch above their weight.
About us
A few agencies say it. But we live up to it. We’re a family. A team of around 40 people who combine the disciplines of design, advertising, digital, social, PR, development and media to produce brand-changing, thought-provoking work for a huge range of brilliant clients in many different industry sectors. We think and then out-think, earn a place in people’s hearts, burn a place in people’s consciousness, fight tooth and nail, giggle like children and drive ourselves nuts …until YOU punch above your weight. We do that for all our clients with bright people, strong opinions, untainted ambition, a collaborative process and a relentless pursuit of the most effective (and cost-effective) way of solving every problem.

Alice Launder, Jennifer Granger and Victoria Henry-LeMaster attended the Tribe Global Conference (here is our mandatory plug that we are founding members of said global independent agency network). We’re pleased to report they weren’t kicked out and didn’t do anything weird. In fact, they returned with the following wisdoms: 1. Know your audience: Not everyone is on TIktok, nearly half of reels and shorts users don’t even touch it. So tailor your content to the platform, because every app has it’s own unique style and audience expectations 2. Boomers Are Shopping More Online: Baby Boomers are increasingly shopping online. It’s a good time to consider this often forgotten demographic when thinking about your next target audience 3. Building Trust with Influencers: While more people are following influencers, trust is something that must be earned. Brands need to carefully choose relatable advocates to connect with audiences in an authentic way. 4. Repurpose, Don’t Repeat: It's important to repurpose content rather than duplicate it. Adjusting content for different platforms ensures it stays fresh and engaging without feeling repetitive. 5. Engaging through Sports Marketing: Sports marketing lets you connect with audiences while they're indulging in the content they consume. Depending on your brand, it could be a useful vehicle to provide visibility in an interesting context, reaching people when they're most engaged and leaning in. 6. Brands aren't defined by their logo: A brand is how people perceive your product or service when the logo is no longer visible. So think about what your brand means once the logo is no longer there? Is it clear what your brand is? 7. Everything is PR: People are watching so earn their attention Nice one, team 😎 Credits: Tom Hedges Russell James Daniel Sheridan Rhodri Harries Jeremy Hemmings Jennifer Webb Jorg Borgwardt Greetje Demuelenaere Emma Keenan James Kirkham

Well, [redacted]. We can’t [redacted] believe it. We finally made a campaign that can [redacted] swear. And The Drum have [redacted] shortlisted it. Our HR department reviewed this post and quite frankly, [redacted] ruined it. A [redacted] massive thank you to Howe Tools Limited.

Well done to Gary, who fought his way onto the stage overpowering two bodyguards in the process! He had an important message to share – how humour can turn heads (and profits) in advertising. Thanks Tribe Global for a wonderful day (and not pressing charges).
Explaining some deeply complex issues surrounding the use of humour in advertising at the Tribe Global conference yesterday in London. Huge thanks to Ian Wright et al for having me along. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and met some awesome Tribe folk from around the world.

Does it remove stains? Win Troy Hawke’s heart? Bring Great British humour back to advertising? Why, yes. Yes it Daz. See even more of our campaign here: https://bit.ly/4djuZj4

The nicest of work, Ella. We're with you every step of the way. Figuratively.
With less than two weeks to go until I take on the Big Half in London, I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to all of my sponsors 🤝 Just shy of £800 when my target was £500. That's phenomenal! I am so grateful and I know that Lucy's family is too 🦋 Both mentally and physically, it has been a tough 14 weeks of training but all of the support I have received has motivated me to push through ✔️ I always remind myself of who I am running this for and the fabulous charity, that is, PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide 💜 Please do check out this website https://lnkd.in/duW6HJxc and my JustGiving page https://lnkd.in/dCsujjCq Thank you all 🩵

THE TIME IS ONCE AGAIN UPON US. Our Creative of the Month announcement is here. Check out our top ads of last month below… 1. STELLA ARTOIS’ ‘WHEN IT RAINS WE POUR’ CAMPAIGN Stella Artois offered fans a free beer if the rain caused the Wimbledon Court Centre game to be halted. We love this campaign as Stella took the infamous UK weather and said, “Let’s make it fun.” It reminds us of our ‘It’s Raining Beer’ campaign for Wash & Go -anything that puts a positive spin on the rain is a win in our book! 2. ARBY’S ORDER OF THE POTATO CAKES Arby’s call in Kyle MacLachlan to spread news of the return of Arby’s potato cakes in a 70s cult themed campaign. The humour coupled with the nostalgic design makes for a highly stylised and intriguing campaign. It goes to show, the right well-known figure for a business can really elevate the brand’s personality to new (funny) heights. 3. SPOTIFY’S ‘MUSIC IS THE BEST DISEASE’ CAMPAIGN Spotify creates an upbeat campaign with music related diseases such as ‘chicken neck syndrome’. The joyful song, youthful bright palette and Wes Anderson-esque art direction perfectly captures the feeling of summer. We love this campaign as it continued to build Spotify’s personality to be funner, sleeker and more modern. Nice one.

At YOU Agency, we take final Friday’s of the month pretty seriously. We took ourselves to Green Park for a game of rounders. The weather was fantastic, the bagels plentiful, and the game was, well…. tragic. True to YOU Agency tradition, Max upheld the oldies injury curse with a fractured arm (he’s okay we promise). Unfortunately, that bonding time had led to the agency breaking down and all of our relationships broken - safe to say we’ll never be playing rounders again.

NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN?! Our digital campaign for P20 is very new AND under the sun. Well. Clouds. We went live with it in just one week. This included media planning, asset development, client management, campaign build, turning live and all of the extras involved. It was a big push but a great example of the power of our integrated agency and how closely our media and creative teams work together. But we like to maintain a chill atmosphere in the office – free from headless-chicken-style running around. So no more tight turnarounds for the foreseeable future. We just wanted to show off. This is LinkedIn. Okay? It’s LinkedIn. New social assets with some previously seen OOH for your viewing pleasure.
