We’re absolutely buzzing to officially welcome AJP, as our Lead Software Engineer here at Kuppa 👨💻 He’s motivated to work towards a world where our homes don’t cost the earth or our wallets. Very on mission!! ☕ AJP (Alexander James Phillips) has been instrumental behind the scenes at Kuppa for about a year before joining as an employee! He's been shaping our tech stack and gearing us up for our first enterprise launch with an energy retailer — stay tuned for more details. 👀 Reinier and I have found him to be a 10xer and not just because of his technical skills. He also brings a calmness and thoughtfulness to every interaction, which I put down to his dedicated meditation practice. In fact, he's so dedicated that he’s just about to embark on an annual 10-day silent retreat. 😶 Having his unique energy and skills on the team is a massive win for us. 🌟 Welcome aboard, AJP!

We’re so excited to welcome Emily Florence Taylor 👩🏼💻 to the Kuppa Team as our new Product Engineer* When we say welcome, we really mean WELCOME BACK! Emily first worked with us 2ish years ago, before we’d incorporated as a business, testing some of the early ideas that became Kuppa. Since then she’s cut her teeth at exciting startups, learnt to code and become a product maestro. 🔥 I feel particularly excited and proud about her homecoming because it tells me we’re building a great place to work, which is one of the things that motivates me every day. *What’s a Product Engineer you ask? Imagine the best of a Product Manager and a Front End Engineer who takes new features through the product lifecycle. That’s a Product Engineer. We think it’s a key role when you’re hurling towards P/M Fit.
