In case you hadn’t heard, some of our team took on an epic challenge last friday, to walk the tunbridge wells weald circular and trudge through 27.5 miles of mud, rain and pain. It was cold, it was wet, it was brutal conditions and we even ended up doing the final leg in the pitch black.
Amongst the lows there were some very big highs though, lots of laughs, games, team challenges and lots of team spirit and in the end, lots of money raised.
We’ve currently raised over £1,200 for Demelza Charity already and with Yoyo promising to match fund our team donations and a few more final donations, we’re hoping to hit the £1500 mark.
All in all an epic success for a very strong and determined team but more importantly to help support the families and children of Demelza Charity and we hope it goes some way to helping bring more extraordinary care to extraordinary children facing serious or life limiting conditions.
Hopefully we’ll be back in our walking shoes again in perhaps a sunnier month next year to give it another go!🤭🚶🌳☔️
Thank you for all your very generous donations that have pushed us along the way.
For now though, special thanks to Jenny Kitchen , Jono Powell, Calvin Davis, Harriet Dolton (née Kinsey), Deneka Francis, Jack Barden, David Monk, Megan Howden, Eliza Staples for their huge determination and efforts.
Well done team. For anyone still looking to donate, you can here.
